Spindel grew up idolizing his favorite radio and TV stars. As a kid, he never imagined he would have the opportunity to meet these Precious People.
About fifteen years into his commercial career, Spindel was invited to appear on the Joe Franklin Show to debut his new line of baseball memorabilia posters. At the taping, he was introduced to Marty Allen & Steve Rossi. A series of serendipitous events resulted from the meeting and Spindel soon found himself calling some of his childhood idols, "friends!" These new relationships became the foundation for his portrait portfolio, "Precious People." Spindel continues to add more portraits to this collection.
